How To Take Caveman Notes

Last week for inquiry we talked about how to take caveman notes as a whole class we made caveman notes about the ¨The Pacific Northwest Tree Octopus¨ Like Octopus grab branch and Red angry because when a octopus is angry it turns red. For reading we have been reading a book named ¨Painting the town¨. This book was telling us what happened in 2011 in ChristChurch their was a masive earthquake that hit and people ost their houses family members and friends some people lost everything. After the horible things Artist from different places came and created murals  and try and bring color back into the places.

After we have read the story we have created our own murals about our culture and my religion and where i live. I found this very exciting to make because it shows what cultrals that I am.

This week for Reading I have created a book named ¨Wings In The Wind¨  We have made this story with Gem what i found intersting was that Gem can make a really good stories. What i found a bit hard was reading the story because i had to swap reading with my buddy.

At tech we have been coding Little robots named M-Bots what i like about this class is that Mrs Geng has a dog that roams around class and when we get a break we would play with this dog. What I found a bit challenging was finding out what order the code goes in because we have to try an find the order it goes in.

LI:To Structure and Write an Narritive

I used a Gemini Gem to help us add detail to a narrative. Our Gem asked us questions that made us think of different ways we could add detail and description to our narrative. When I finished I used the Storybook feature in Gemini to create an illustrated version. This was a bit harder to do because I had to keep adjusting the prompts to get as close to my original narrative as I could To the Story.Something we found interesting was that Gem Can make books you can listen to instead of reading them.

 

Peter-AI reverse challenge

This week for inquiry we were learning to do promts that will copy the exact image. Me and my friend Angelo have created an Presitation of what out prompt was and what the image that was create. My first prompt was “Create an image of a leopard on a tree branch in the jungle coloured water art.”. This activity was very cool to do.
